It's Shakespeare Week!

Shakespeare Week is here!

Here at Young Writers, we love Shakespeare and are excited to be a Shakespeare Week Partner for the third year running!

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust passionately believes that Shakespeare is not only for all time, but for everyone, and that having a great first experience of Shakespeare should be something every child experiences. That’s where Shakespeare Week comes in.

From the 14th – 20th March there will be performances, interactive plays, drama workshops, craft events and competitions across the UK to celebrate possibly the most famous writer to ever live. On top of this teachers and parents have the opportunity to register on the official Shakespeare Week’s website and gain access to tons of totally free educational resources to get kids excited about exploring and understanding the works of the Bard (that’s William Shakespeare to you and me.)

Visit www.shakespeareweek.org.uk to find out what’s taking place in your area and download some fun packs to get to grips with all things Shakespeare.

Let us know how you are celebrating Shakespeare week by tweeting us @YoungWritersCW!

Also don’t forget to also download our free Shakespeare Fact Pack!
